The event will focus on how businesses and services can take their sites mobile and capitalize on a market that is predicted to be worth billions in the coming years.
Right now in Japan shopping and surfing the web from the mobile phone is done by over 40% of adults. Here in the United States we are far behind Europe and Asia when it comes to mobile web users, but we are catching up fast.
What does this mean? "Incredible opportunity for early adapters" says Larry Lockhart, conference organizer "Think about the convenience of shopping or getting information anytime and anywhere, then think about the opportunity for those who are first to serve the market"
The MWA conference has already signed on over 30 of the industries top speakers. The conference has four educational tracks, they are:
Pre-Conference Workshop: Enhancing The User Experience. This will focus on the market overview. Who is using the mobile web, what services are most in demand, forecasts, case studies and more.
Technical Track: For web developers and designers who want to learn how to build mobile websites or make their current site mobile friendly. Design, ease of navigation tools, coding, security, and more. Everything will be covered in this A to Z course.
