InfoMedia Services (IMS) today announced that it has been shortlisted for the Mobile Entertainment Awards 2008 in the Best Managed Service Platform category. Taking place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on September 25th, the awards celebrate industry excellence in mobile entertainment, content and services.
Over the last 12 months IMS has delivered an average increase across all clients of 28% in user sessions, 47% in page impressions and 88% in unit sales, serving over 18 million page impressions per month both on and off portal, providing services cross network and optimised for over 2,200 handsets.
InfoMedia manages the mobile services of brands including Tesco Mobile, Sky, IPC Media, NME, Bauer, Manchester United, Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC, Real Madrid and Everton FC.
Michael Tomlins, Commercial Director, InfoMedia Services, said: "The arrival of flat rate data tariffs plus the proliferation of 3G enabled handsets has meant that more people that ever are using their mobiles to browse this internet and purchase mobile content.
"Capitalising on these factors, InfoMedia has increased unit sales for our managed services clients by an average of 88% during the last twelve months, testament to the calibre of our technology, breadth of content licenses and expertise in the managed services market."
